NEW TAMPA - Bay News 9 reports that a 26 year-old Tampa man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a vehicle that failed to yield to his right of way. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and died at the scene.

Two on motorcycle injured in hit and run on I-275 near Ulmerton exit ♦ Both taken to the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg

PINELLAS COUNTY – According to BayNews9, Two people were injured in a crash that involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck on southbound Interstate 275. The accident happened about a quarter mile south of the southbound exit ramp to State Road 688 at 5:50 p.m. Law enforcement officials say a motorcycle with a male driver and female passenger were traveling southbound on I-275 in the left center lane when an unknown pickup truck collided into the motorcycle from the rear in the same lane. The motorcycle driver lost control, and the occupants were ejected onto the road. The unknown truck left the scene.

Both were transported to Bayfront Medical Center Trauma Unit in St. Petersburg.

The investigation continues.

MOTORCYCLIST DEAD in CRASH with pick up truck on U.S. 19 in PASCO COUNTY near Gulfview Square Mall

PORT RICHEY — According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist died after colliding with a pickup truck on U.S. 19. The motorcyclist was traveling south on his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle when a truck driving north on U.S. 19 turned left into his path. The collision happened just south of the Gulf View Square Mall.

The crash remains under investigation.

Motorcycle accident – Fatality in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG - A Seminole man died early Saturday when he crashed his motorcycle on Tyrone Boulevard.

The driver of the motorcycle was thrown from his bike at around 1:45 a.m. in the 3900 block of Tyrone Boulevard North. St. Petersburg police officials said the biker lost control of his 2008 Honda motorcycle before the crash. The bike skidded on its side nearly 100 feet. The biker , who was wearing a helmet, struck a signpost along the road.

The biker was taken to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment and was declared dead at 3:09 a.m.

TWO MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS in Pinellas County claim three (3) lives near Dunedin / Palm Harbor and Clearwater

PINELLAS COUNTY - According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Curlew and Fisher Roads near Dunedin. The biker was not wearing a helmet and ejected off the bike. He was transported by EMS to Mease Countryside Hospital and was pronounced dead around 7:30 a.m.

The day before this crash, the driver of his motorcycle failed to negotiate the curve on Montclair Road and was ejected from the bike. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the bike was transported by EMS to Mease Dunedin Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation of this accident continues as law enforcement suspect that both speed and alcohol may have contributed to this crash.

MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT - I-4 - TAMPA - FATAL

TAMPA - A motorcyclist died Wednesday night after riding between stopped cars on Interstate 4. According the the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) the cyclist lost control of his bike and sliding beneath a moving tow truck. The motorcyclist who was not wearing a helmet died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

Two Tampa residents critically injured in St. Pete motorcycle accident at I-375 exit ramp

ST. PETERSBURG — Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday on Interstate 375. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver lost control of his control of his 1998 Kawasaki motorcycle just before noon on the Interstate 375 exit ramp.

The driver of the cycle was exiting from northbound Interstate 275, and struck the concrete barrier with the left side of his bike. He and his female passenger both from Tampa were ejected and thrown into a lane of traffic.

Both were wearing helmets and taken to Bayfront Medical Center — Both sustained critical injuries.

Dunedin Largo PINELLAS COUNTY MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT - One fatality - One Seriously injured

PINELLAS COUNTY - Two separate Pinellas motorcycle accidents leave one rider dead, another injured. One motorcyclist was killed and another injured in two separate crashes in Pinellas County on Wednesday September 30, 2009.

The first accident occurred at the intersection of County Road 1 near San Christopher Drive in Dunedin. Pinellas County Sheriff's Office was on the scene. The biker was transported to Mease-Dunedin Hospital and pronounced dead at 4:08 p.m. No citations have been issued but the investigation is continuing.

Later, another motorcyclist was injured around 6 p.m. when he lost control of his bike and was thrown off his motorcycle on U.S. 19 just north of East Bay Drive in Largo. Largo Police was on the scene. The unidentified motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. He was flown via Bayflight to the Bayfront Medical Center with serious injuries.

At least one injured in Pinellas Park motorcycle accident • Belcher Road at 78th Avenue

PINELLAS PARK — At least one person was injured in an accident Tuesday night at Belcher Road and 78th Avenue N, officials said. The accident, which occurred just after 11 p.m., involved a motorcycle.

One person was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert.

Pinellas Park police are investigating. No other details were available late Tuesday night.

Two motorcyclists • Two accidents • Two deaths • TAMPA BAY

TAMPA BAY AREA - A pair of motorcyclists lost their lives this past weekend in two separate accidents. One was a single motorcycle accident where the driver lost control if his motorcycle after hitting a curb and was thrown from his motorcycle. He was transported to Bayfront Medical Center and later died.

The second motorcycle crash was apparently caused by a driver that made a left hand turn in front of the oncoming biker. The biker was also thrown from his cycle. He was transported to Brandon Regional Medical Center and later died due trauma.

Troopers say this crash is under investigation, and that charges are pending.

Motorcycle Accident ♦ Bradenton ♦ Blake Memorial Hospital ♦ FHP investigation continues

MANATEE COUNTY — According to the FHP, a motorcyclist died yesterday after running a stop sign and colliding with a vehicle in west Bradenton. The biker was on a Yamaha motorcycle traveling westbound on 18th Avenue West when he failed to stop as he entered the intersection at 51st Street in Bradenton. The biker was struck by a vehicle traveling on 51st Street. The impact caused the biker to be thrown off the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. He was transported to Blake Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Florida Highway Patrol is completing their investigation.
