NISSAN to recall CUBE over fuel spill fault | Rear-end crash | Serious Injuries

NATIONAL - According to the Associated Press (AP) (7/27, Manning) reports that Nissan has informed NHTSA that it is recalling over 51,000 Cube models in North America "because of possible problems with fuel spilling during rear end collisions," noting that "tests conducted by NHTSA safety regulators found more fuel spilled than federal standards allow.

The spillage occurred during rear end crash tests at 50 miles per hour where the vehicle also spun onto its side."
