PORT CANAVERAL -- Thirty passengers from a Port Canaveral-based cruise ship were hurt during a shore excursion in the Virgin Islands.
According to Florida Today, passengers from Royal Caribbean's newest ship, Freedom of the Seas, were on an amphibious tour bus in St. Thomas Wednesday when the bus went off the road and crashed. The passengers had minor injures, but one had a broken ankle.
The passengers were on a seven-night Caribbean cruise and were expected to return to Port Canaveral on Sunday.
